PAF Bocce League Basics
Come bond with some of Portland’s smartest creatives and technophiles while having a few drinks and knocking each other’s balls around.
That’s right, bocce! Part bowling; part shuffleboard; part darts; mostly Italian – bocce is genetically engineered for hanging out.
Experience the thrill of bocce for yourself at the PAF bocce league inaugural/instructional open play session on June 10th at 5:30pm in the North Park Blocks between Glisan and Flanders. It’s absolutely free, with equipment provided by the Stepchange Group (corner of NW Glisan and 9th).
See you on the court.

About Bocce
Bocce (pronounced “bah-chee”) is so old, nobody can reliably tell you when exactly it started. The game is played by two teams attempting to get their balls closest to the target ball, called the “jack” or “pallino.” Points are awarded to one team per round, for each ball closer to the pallino than any opponent’s ball. The first team with 13 points wins.
